Who We Are

High Point by Design (HPxD) is a movement that unites, supports, and promotes the year-round design scene in High Point. We are about unlocking the full potential of High Point and the creative spark that make this city unlike anywhere else in the design world.

We are a membership organization whose members—leading home furnishings brands and boutique design studios—keep their High Point showrooms accessible year-round. All welcome interior designers and architects, and many also welcome the design-curious who want to browse, be inspired, and shop.

And, we are also a Foundation whose work focuses on education and clearing pathways and opening doors between our community and the home furnishings and design industry. Inspired by the city’s messaging: “What we create in High Point changes the world”—The High Point by Design Foundation’s goal is to nurture a new generation of changemakers.

What We Do

We use design to spark energy and connection in High Point. Throughout the year, we host educational experiences, creative gatherings, and opportunities to meet and collaborate. Our legendary biannual sales in February and August open the doors wide, and our ongoing programming keeps the conversation—and the inspiration—flowing. We also believe in design for good, supporting projects that uplift our local community.
