Smack dab in the center of downtown High Point, Sabrina’s Gallery on Main occupies two floors of an vintage buildings overlooking The Pit, one of the city’s always evolving public art installations. Welcoming creatives of all kinds – designers, fine artists, art enthusiasts and the art-curious – the Gallery showcases the work of about 40 artists throughout the year, in addition to hosting special openings, workshops, and community events.
Conceived and operated by Sabrina Tillman, a High Point native and studio art scholar, the artist can often be found painting outside, easel set up on the sidewalk across from the former Red Lion hotel. Working in just about any artist medium, one can glimpse the breadth of her skill – oils, photography, charcoal, printmaking, etc. – on the second floor of the Gallery which also houses her studio.
The creative scene in High Point is heating up and Sabrina’s Gallery on Main is certainly a catalyst in its development. With a lot of artists showing increased interest in showing in High Point and more designers visiting the Gallery, Sabrina and her team are focused on creating a year-round space that serves all.
Located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, Gallery on Main is only accessible by stairs.
