Stuart and Leyla Gans have been in the business of designing passementerie since 2004. With their trims, tapes and embellishments crafted from luxe and natural materials and always well received, it didn’t take long for them to envision other fashion-forward applications for the home such as lighting and wall decor.
With operations formerly in Asheville and Wrightsville Beach – hence the M2C brand name which stands for “Mountains to Coast” – they relocated the company to a former hosiery mill in High Point nearly a year ago. Once known as Pickett Mill, the block-long historic building, has come to be called The Lab HP. It is a space in evolution, but already evident is that this is a place where creative ideas come into being through persistence and collaboration.
If you’d like to visit M2C, please make an appointment with Leyla (lg@m2cstudio.com). Their lighting and décor can also be viewed at the Verellen showroom.
