Gathering for Good

This is our second year of teaming up with WithIt to do good this holiday season and Woodbridge Furniture is in on it too.

Here’s the scoop. There are three causes and ways to give and then we all get together and celebrate the spirit of giving.

First the causes:

Gift a Family:Bringing holiday joy to a family with financial restraint, WithIt, together with HPxD, is adopting the McFadden family and making good on that family’s wish list. You can read about the McFaddens, and peruse the wish list and find something to buy. Write down your contribution so there aren’t unneccessary repeats. Bring your gift/s to Woodbridge on Tuesday December 5th and we’ll have a big ol’ wrap party with plenty of libations and hors d’oeuvres.

Book Drive: Dealing with children in crisis, C3 (Community Collaboration for Children) dreams of having a plentiful bookshelf at the organization’s office, to help children distract from the stress of the moment. Please bring a new or gently used book.

Supply Drive: We’ve learned from Communities in Schools, whose mission is to help kids stay in school, that many local High Point students do not have basic needs met and so we are having a Hygiene Supply Drive to assist with the basics. Scroll down to the bottom of the list to see the supplies we are working on gathering.

Once you’ve figured out which giving suits you, rsvp for the Wrap Party at Woodbridge. You do not have to be a member of WithIt or HPxD to attend.
