Designing Wellbeing: Neuroaesthetics, Biophilia & the Healing Power of Beauty

High Point by Design, in collaboration with Science in Design, is launching a new two-day educational event at High Point Market. Designing Wellbeing: Neuroaesthetics, Biophilia & the Healing Power of Beauty will take place on Friday, April 25 followed by a day of showroom hopping at High Point Market on Saturday the 26th. The showrooms and people we will visit on Saturday are those who embrace the principles behind Designing Wellbeing.

We are excited to announce two of our feature presenters – international biophilic design authority Bill Browning from Terrapin Bright Green will be our keynote speaker and interior designer Caleb Anderson of Drake/Anderson and Well-Designed, who is making healthy materials and responsible design a company-wide priority in his luxury design firm will deliver the final Breakthrough Presentation, named thusly because Caleb is truly shifting the luxury design conversation toward Purpose. In addition, Lyn Godley – product designer turned artist and now professor and researcher at the Jefferson Center of Immersive Arts for Health will share what she’s found on the relationship between art and creating sanctuary.

All of our lovely speakers can be found here:
